Shodh Sankalp Journal (ISSN 2582-9033) is a multidisciplinary peer-reviewed journal dedicated to research in the field of Business, commerce, development studies, economics, education, engineering, energy, finance, government policies, history, Law, science, social sciences, and allied fields. The Journal publishes original research and review articles reporting on theoretical, numerical, and experimental works that advance the knowledge.

Authors guideline

Submission Guideline

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission’s compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • Article type : Original Article, Case study, Book review
  • Articles should not exceed 5000 words. All regular articles must be accompanied by an abstract of 150–200 words and 4–6 keywords.
  •  The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  •  Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  •  The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.

Manuscript: Manuscript should contains text, in sequence of title, authors and their affiliations, abstract, keywords, main text part, acknowledgments, references and figure/table captions list in Word document, and supplement/supporting information if any. The figures are not included in the main text.

Abstract:  It should set out briefly and clearly the main objectives and results/conclusions of the work; it should give the reader a clear idea of what has been achieved. The length of the abstract should be within 150-200 words.

Reference

Citation in text

Please ensure that every reference cited in the text is also present in the reference list (and vice versa). Any references cited in the abstract must be given in full. Unpublished results and personal communications are not recommended in the reference list, but may be mentioned in the text.

Web references
As a minimum, the full URL should be given and the date when the reference was last accessed. Any further information, if known (DOI, author names, dates, reference to a source publication, etc.), should also be given.

 Author BiographyBiographies of the first author and/or the corresponding author within 150 words (including the author photos) should include educational background, research field, and published papers and patents, etc.. Please submit the biographies as a separate file.

Graphical Abstract and HighlightsGraphical Abstract should be submitted along with a (or a group of) photo (or photos). The photo should be no larger than 16.6 cm×3.8 cm (width×height). Highlights should be a short collection of bullet points that convey the core advantages and provide readers with a quick textual overview of the article. Three to five bullet points describe the essence of the research (e.g. results or conclusions) and highlight what is distinction of study, each bullet point only consists of 125 characters including spaces. Please submit the graphical abstract and highlights as two separate files.

Graphical Figures and Tables: Please provide vector drawings for editing. The requirements on the drawings provided are listed as below: Resolution is 300 dpi at least; the format is emf, wmf, eps, ai, etc.; the width is within either single column (85 mm) or double column (166 mm), and must be no longer than 230 mm. Please provide the reference sources in the figure/table captions, if any.

Conflict of interestAll authors are requested to disclose any actual or potential conflict of interest including any financial, personal or other relationships with other people or organizations within three years of beginning the submitted work that could inappropriately influence, or be perceived to influence, their work. Please add a paragraph for ‘Conflict of interest’. When authors have nothing to declare, please write:

Acknowledgments: Please provide the grant number(s) and the name of supported foundation items correctly for identification purposes in the end of text.

Author Fees

This journal charges the following author fees. There will be no submission fees. If the paper is accepted for publication, you will be asked to pay Rs. 1000/- for Indian author and USD 50 for other as article publication fee to cover publications costs. If you do not have funds to pay such fees, you will have an opportunity to waive article publication fee only. We do not want to prevent the publication of worthy work.

Publication Ethics and Peer Review policy

Publication Ethics

The publication of an article in a peer-reviewed journal is an essential building block in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them.

  • The research being reported should have been conducted in an ethical
    and responsible manner and should comply with all relevant legislation.
  •  Researchers should present their results clearly, honestly, and without
    fabrication, falsification or inappropriate data manipulation.
  • Researchers should strive to describe their methods clearly and
    unambiguously so that their findings can be confirmed by others.
  •  Researchers should adhere to publication requirements that submitted work is original, is not plagiarised, and has not been published elsewhere.
  • Authors should take collective responsibility for submitted and published work.
  • The authorship of research publications should accurately reflect individuals ‘contributions to the work and its reporting.
  • Funding sources and relevant conflicts of interest should be disclosed.

Plagiarism

Submitted articles may be checked with duplication-checking software. Where an article, for example, is found to have plagiarized other work or included third-party copyright material without permission or with insufficient acknowledgement, or where the authorship of the article is contested, we reserve the right to take action including, but not limited to: publishing an erratum or corrigendum (correction); retracting the article; taking up the matter with the head of department or dean of the author’s institution and/or relevant academic bodies or societies; or taking appropriate legal action.

Peer review policy

Shodh sankalp Journal adheres to a rigorous double-blind reviewing policy in which the identity of both the reviewer and author are always concealed from both parties.

All submissions will be initially assessed by the editor for suitability for the journal. Papers deemed suitable are then typically sent to a minimum of two independent expert reviewers to assess the scientific quality of the paper. The Editor is responsible for the final decision regarding acceptance or rejection of articles. The Editor’s decision is final.

The Editor or members of the Editorial Board may occasionally submit their own manuscripts for possible publication in the Journal. In these cases, the peer review process will be managed by alternative members of the Board and the submitting Editor/Board member will have no involvement in the decision-making process.
